Our first stop was in Budapest where we stayed at the wonderful Hotel Gellért on the bank of the river Danube. Here I am on our balcony with a view of the Szabadság (Freedom) bridge. |
Of course Hungary is famous for its cakes and pastries so we spent a fair amount of time in the cukrászda (patisserie). Hungarian beer is not bad either. |
